A holy weapon wielded by angelic archers, the bow of celestial light is a ''+1 [[SRD:Holy|holy]] [[SRD:Longbow|longbow]]'' that automatically adjusts with the user's [[Strength]] score as if it were a composite bow.  All arrows shot from it take on a brilliant glow, and it can even be fired without arrows as it is capable of generating its own shining ammunition as part of an attack.  It actively harms evil creatures, burning them for 1d6 points of damage every round they touch it (or 2d6 if an evil outsider).  It automatically bypasses the DR of any outsider with the [Evil] subtype (except DR/-).

As a 1 round action, the bow can be pulled back and launched out to its maximum range (usually 1000 ft) in a line of that length, making a single attack roll against all creatures in that line, and automatically slaying any outsiders with the [Evil] subtype with 4 HD or less.  The line glows brightly, illuminating the entire line as a [[SRD:Torch|torch]] for 1 round.
