|benefit=When you are conscious, under 0 hit point and take enough damage to kill you, instead of dying you fall into a coma. Your become [[SRD:Unconscious|unconscious]] and your current hit point is set to 1 point of damage away from the amount of negative hit point required for your death (usually -9), you are stable and do not risk losing further hit points. You stay [[SRD:Unconscious|unconscious]] for 1 hour per point of damage you took that exceeded the amount needed to kill you. You persist in this state even if you are healed above 0 hit points, but you regain consciousness automatically after being 1 hour at full hit point.

This feat does not offer any protection against effects which outright kills you, even if they deal damage.
