For as long as there is essentia invested into this feat, you add the spells, from the chosen domain, of a level equal or inferior to 1 + the amount of essentia invested into this feat to your list of spell known. For example a favored soul{{cite|CD3}} of Boccob may choose the [[SRD:Knowledge Domain|Knowledge domain]] and after investing two points of essentia into this feat would gain access to the first three spell from this domain, ''[[SRD:Detect Secret Doors|Detect Secret Doors]]'', ''[[SRD:Detect Thoughts|Detect Thoughts]]'' and ''[[SRD:Clairaudience/Clairvoyance|Clairaudience/Clairvoyance]]''. Once the amount of essentia invested is chosen, it cannot be altered and remains invested for 24 hours.
