A rare mask crafted for a order of assassin in an ancient land, the Mask of the Jackal was designed to make the wearer into a stalker of the night and is a dangerous tool in the wrong hands. The mask place the wearer under the effect of [[Persistent Invisibility (3.5e Spell)|''persistent invisibility'']] and grant a constant [[SRD:Devil|See in Darkness]] effect to the wearer. Both effect may be suppressed or resumed as a free action.

As long as the See in Darkness effect is active the wearer suffer from [[SRD:Drow|light blindness]]. The invisibility effect also fail under daylight (including the [[SRD:Daylight|''daylight'']] spell).
