|benefit=Whenever you would die, you instead turn into a statue of stone as per [[SRD:Flesh to Stone|''flesh to stone'']], except that your equipment is not petrified alongside you. If your statue is subjected to an effect which undoes petrification or your statue receives enough healing to place you above 0 hit point you are brought to life at 0 hit point. If your statue is allowed to persist for 1 week you unpetrify naturally, reviving at 0 hit point. You do not unpetrify if you would be exposed to an effect which would kill you, and any such situation reset the duration needed for revival. 

If your statue is badly damaged or destroyed you die and need to receive proper revival. However your statue is quite resistant, having your hit points and hardness equal to 8 + half your character level.
