|fluff=The bolt struck him square in the ankle and he toppled over and into the river, dead, or so the guards thought.
|benefit=You may, as an [[SRD:Immediate Actions|immediate action]], make a [[SRD:Bluff Skill|Bluff]] attempt to play dead after having been dealt damage, falling [[SRD:Prone|prone]]. Targets take a -1 penalty to their opposed check per 10 feet of distance between you and another -5 penalty if they are distracted (such as engaged in combat with another opponent). If you choose to move at all (taking any physical action or making noise), the deception is lost, though you may still surprise unsuspecting creatures as you do so. Creatures who fail their check against you are [[SRD:Flat-Footed|flat-footed]] against you (after you break the deception) until the end of your turn.
