|benefit=When wielding a [[SRD:Quarterstaff|Quarterstaff]] you increase it critical modifier to 19-20/x2, this stacks with other effect which modifies critical threat (like [[SRD:Improved Critical|Improved Critical]]). Additionally you may use a [[SRD:Quarterstaff|Quarterstaff]] as a one-handed reach weapon, and unlike most other weapons with reach, it can be used against an adjacent foe. Finally You can use the [[SRD:Weapon Finesse|Weapon Finesse]] [[SRD:Feats|feat]] to apply your [[SRD:Dexterity|Dexterity]] modifier instead of your [[SRD:Strength|Strength]] modifier to [[SRD:Attack Roll|attack rolls]] with a quarterstaff sized for you, even though it isn’t a [[SRD:Light Weapon|light weapon]] for you.
