This ring, immune to fire damage itself, grows explosive pearls (much like a condensed ''[[SRD:Fireball|fireball]]'') in its setting when set in fire for 24 hours. Every 24 hours the ring remains within fire, the strength and size of the pearl increases adding 1d6 [[SRD:Fire Effect|fire]] damage on detonation, until it reaches maximum size after 10 days dealing 10d6 damage. Days spent in fire need not be consecutive. When the ring's wearer dies, the ring activates and the golden pearl explodes, dealing an amount of [[SRD:Fire Effect|fire]] damage (dependent on the pearl) within a 20 foot radius. A [[SRD:DC|DC]] 14 [[SRD:Reflex|Reflex]] save is allowed for half damage.

Attempting to remove the pearl from the setting ([[SRD:Standard Actions|standard action]] DC 14 [[SRD:Strength|Strength]] check) or destroying the ring causes the pearl to detonate. A new pearl needs to be grown after every detonation.
