<onlyinclude>Scathe Bile is a dangerous, blue acid that continually bubbles and froths up which can eat through virtually any material after just a moment of contact. Scathe Bile acts like normal [[SRD:Acid|acid]], except it deals 1d10 points of damage per round of exposure (10d10 in the case of total immersion), and inhaling the fumes of Scathe Bile deals no [[SRD:Constitution|Constitution]] damage, but instead inflicts [[SRD:Nauseated|nausea]] for one minute on a failed [[SRD:Saving Throw#Fortitude|Fortitude]] save (DC 20).

A single flask of Scathe Bile can also be used as a splash weapon. Treat this attack as a ranged [[SRD:Touch Attack|touch attack]] with a range increment of 15 feet. A direct hit deals 1d10 points of acid damage and forces the target to make a [[SRD:Saving Throw#Fortitude|Fortitude]] save (DC 20) or be [[SRD:Nauseated|nauseated]] for one round. Every creature within 5 feet of the point where the flask hits takes 1d6 point of acid damage from the splash. Additionally, all who are damaged by Scathe Bile are inflicted with mind-splitting pain as their very skin melts, granting all who attempt to [[SRD:Intimidate Skill|intimidate]] the creature a +3 circumstance bonus to their [[SRD:Intimidate Skill|intimidate]] check.

A character with the [[Bringer of Agony (3.5e Feat)|bringer of agony]] feat can brew up a single flask of Scathe Bile in 4 hours time with a DC [[Craft DC::22]] [[SRD:Craft Skill|Craft (Alchemy)]] check, while using up 70 gp worth of raw material. The materials used in brewing Scathe Bile are inconspicuous and can be found in any average human marketplace.
