When under the effects of this spell, if exposed to a harmful effect based on your senses (such as requiring vision to be affected by a gaze attack, hearing for a language dependent effect, or touch for pain effects, and so forth) you can choose to shut down your sense as a non-action to prevent yourself from being afflicted.  This blinds, deafens, and otherwise makes the use of the sense non-functional for 1 minute/level.  In return, you can sharpen one other sense to make up for your loss, with the benefits as below.

''Hearing:'' You gain Blindsense out to 30 ft and [[SRD:Blind-Fight|Blind-Fight]] for the duration.

''Sight:'' You are under the effects of ''[[SRD:See Invisibility|see invisibility]]''.

''Smell:'' You gain [[SRD:Scent|scent]] for the duration.

''Taste:'' You can identify the makeup of any substance you eat, and can sense poison just by tasting the air nearby.  Treat as if under a constant extraordinary ''[[SRD:Detect Poison|detect poison]]'' effect.

''Touch:'' You can feel in great detail, picking up fingerprints and minor effects.  Treat this as an extraordinary ''[[SRD:Object Reading|object reading]]'' at will for the duration, though it gives no result for alignment.

In spite of the name, it works on anything, not just [Evil] effects.
