This ''+1 longsword'' has remote flying capabilities.  Drawing or sheathing the weapon is a free action triggered by naught more than a thought.  As a standard action you can make a ranged attack roll with the blade using the ability score you use to attack (usually [[Strength]]) on attack rolls, with a range of 30 ft.  While limited to single attacks, any melee abilities you have can be used on this ranged attack such as any feats or class abilities, though you do not threaten out to that range.

You can also mount your blade as a move action.  Using the sword as a surfboard prevents you from using it as a weapon and requires a DC 15 Balance check to stay on each round, but grants you a fly speed of 40 ft (average).  It can carry up to 200 lbs, or 400 lbs at 30 ft.  It can also fly to your side as a move action from up to 300 ft away.

If you are ever rendered unable to act (such as by paralysis or death) the sword automatically unsheathes to guard your body for up to 24 hours.  It cannot make any attacks but may make endless attacks of opportunity using your statistics to attack, and your sensory abilities.

To use the skyrail sword you must attune to it over the course of 24 hours.
