Death's Dancer

Will you dance with Death, or do you fear her call?

Prerequisite: Songweaver

You have practiced the arts of the dance of death, and have learned how to use your blade in tune with the songweaver's art. Your blade dances in your hand with the might of death, and hums with Death's arcane song, taking its place as your instrument. Your foes fall to song and dancing steel, but you know that death could call you too if you do not dance well enough.

Death's Dancer Path Features

Dancing Action (11th Level): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you also gain a move action.

Bladesong (11th Level): Your blade hums with music in tune with the notes of your voice. You can use any light or heavy blade as any songweaver implement of your choice. You add your blade's enhancememt bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls when you use it as an implement. You do not add your blade's proficiency bonus to atack rolls when using it as an implement.

Dance of Death (16th Level): When you charge, you can use a songweaver or death's dancer melee power as part of the charge in place of a melee basic attack.

Death's Dancer Powers

Death's Blade Dance Death' Dance Attack 11
Your blade dances with necrotic power as you dance with death. Inspired by your dance, your allies close in to finish your foes off.
Encounter ✦ Arcane, Necrotic, Weapon
Standard Action	Close burst 1
Target: Each enemy in burst that you can see.
Attack: Charisma vs. Armor Class
Hit: 1[W] + Chaisma modidfier necrotic damage, and each ally within 5 squares gains a +1 bonus to attack rolls against the target until the end of your next turn.

Pre-emptive Song Death's Dancer Utility 12
Your musical spell enables you to begin the dance of death before all others.
Daily ✦ Arcane
No Action	Personal
Effect: Make an Arcana check and use that in place of your initiative check result. If you get the first turn in the encounter, you can shift your speed as a free action before you take any other actions.

Wardance of Death Death's Dancer Attack 20
You dance across the battlefield, striking foes that get in your way.
Daily ✦ Arcane, Necrotic, Weapon
Standard Action	Personal
Effect: Shift your speed. Make a Charisma vs. Reflex attack against each enemy you move adjacent to with this move that deals 1[W] + Charisma modifier necrotic damage. Each target hit grants combat advantage to each ally within 5 squares of you until the end of your next turn.
