Darksphere[edit]

The entire demiplane consists of the inside of a giant dark metal ball filled with metal platforms, chains and suspension bridges. All over the metal are unidentified brown areas which could be dried blood, rust, or a mix of both. The whole interior is just lit so that one can make out things up to 60 ft. away; this lighting seems to have no particular source.

Demiplane Traits[edit]

Physical Traits[edit]

  • Gravity: Normal.
  • Time: Normal.
  • Size: Inside of a dark metal sphere with a diameter of 300 ft.

  • Energy Dominance: No energy traits.
  • Alignment Trait: Mildly Neutral-Aligned.

Plane Inhabitants[edit]

Besides the temporary combatants, nothing inhabits the Darksphere.

Movement and Combat[edit]

Climbing the horizontal chains requires a DC 5 Climb check. Climbing the vertical chains requires a DC 10 Climb check.

If standing on one of the metal suspension bridges while engaged in melee combat, one must make a DC 15 Balance check or else fall off.

Features of the Demiplane[edit]

The Plane is made entirely of a indestructible dark metal. All over the interior of the sphere are small metal platforms made af the same material, connected by chains and metal suspension bridges.

Demiplane Links[edit]

None exist. The only way to enter Darksphere is being targeted by Call of Darksphere.

Demiplane Encounters[edit]

None other than other targets of Call of Darksphere.

Call of Darksphere[edit]

Occasionally, the Darksphere will send out a call to one or more creatures somewhere in the multiverse, and they are instantly teleported (along with their equipment) to random locations within the Darksphere. When one of the creatures dies (or is destroyed, in the case of undead and constructs), all creatures, living and dead, are sent back to where they were first abducted by the Darksphere after a delay of 2 rounds. Anything in their possession goes with them, and each unattended object which was brought to the Darksphere is sent back with the one who brought it.

How and why people are target by the call is a mystery.
