Skycutter
A rather curious artifact, the blade Skycutter was forged by an oni smith who forsook alcohol, in exchange for a release on an oath. It was forged from a slab of deisteel and enhanced with the essence of the sky. The sword itself is simplistic in appearance, a long straight single-edged blade with a flat round guard and a minimalist grip. The sword would be mistaken for rather ordinary were it not made of deisteel. The only stylistic addition are the engraving of clouds on the blade and grip. When wielded the blade unleash a sky blue blast of energy from every swing.
The legendary blade Skycutter is a +5 Omnisharp Vorpal Deisteel Bastard Sword. Due to it powerful magic, when skycutter is swung it project a beam from the blade in a 5-ft tall 15-ft long cone which deal 1d6 + the wielder's highest mental ability modifier in magic damage. Any creature caught in blade beam may attempt a Reflex save (DC 10 +1/2 Bab + highest mental ability score modifier) to halve damage, however no save are granted to any creature directly struck by skycutter.
If the wielder's base attack bonus is at least 15 then she may unleash a powerful attack with the blade:
As a 1 round action the blade may be aimed at the sky, unleashing a 5-fts tall 50-miles long cone of destruction. The cone must be aimed skyward at at least a 45 degree angle. Any creature, objects or else caught in the cone at dealt skycutter's damage plus 1d12 pure magic damage per point of the base attack bonus of the wielder. The cone keep going through any objects it destroy ignoring all cover, even total cover as long as it capable of destroying it. This ability split the sky in two, causing Hurricane-level wind to sweep the area 1d4 rounds after being used, the winds last themselves only 1 rounds before decreasing by one category each round thereafter until it return to the default of the area. Overuse of this ability might cause greater and greater storm if used in quick succession, the blade itself provide no protection from the high winds that result from it uses.
