A vorpal weapon is much deadlier can slay a weakened creature in an instant. A vorpal weapon act as a keen weapon except that whenever you successfully strike a creature with a vorpal weapon, if it has less than 10 hit points per point of flat enhancement on the weapon before or after you deal damage it is instantly slain as you perform a mortal blow (such as decapitation, pierce the heart, etc). A creature slain by a vorpal weapon has it body considered too destroyed for being brought back from the dead through raise dead.
Unlike the SRD version, this version does not rely on decapitation to kill and thus work on any corporeal creature.
Special: This ability may be added to a Keen weapon at a cost of only an additional +4 bonus.
