LucipolEdit
“ | You are positivly glowing today. | ” |
—Luma Starshine, Adventuring Lucipol |
Once a group of humanoids had their kingdom and kin banished to a demiplane of twilight on the border of the Shadowfell, a land of eternal night and long shadow. There they were afflicted by the unusual planar energies of the realm and generation over generation, their forms began to change. Eventually some found their way out back into the material plane through the darkest caves and shadowed groves, populating their ancient home again as an unusual sight: humanoids which glow with their own bioluminescence.
DescriptionEdit
Lucipol appear to have once been human as in all respects they appear as human, if generally more slender than most. However their skin is semi-transparent, with an undertone of dark blues, blacks, greens, and other cool colors. Spots, stripes, and other patterns can be seen within the thin slick layer of their outer skin, and these places can and do illuminate with bioluminescence in various strengths. Their eyes are also bright, multihued, and starry with an iridescence that covers their irises. Their hair also possesses their glassy semi-transparent properties, but does not possess bioluminescence. When they speak, their body naturally shimmers with patterns which match with their unique racial tongue.

Lucipol PsychologyEdit
The original civilization which was lost to the shadows has long since been forgotten, including the reason why they were banished in the first place. The few who have escaped their native land have done so out of wanderlust, and perhaps are poor represenatives of their initial kin. For those which escaped into the material, others found them curious, exploratory, and wandering. Many could view their appearances as unnerving, as comparing a normal fish to its deep sea kin. Yet some might find beauty in their ability to shimmer like the stars.
TerritoriesEdit
Lucipol originally came from the banished realm of the Scioshut, a kingdom long forgotten from this world. Those who escaped have no home to call their own, and either wander or intermix with other cultures.
Lucipol AdventurersEdit
Lucipol which have reached the material plane are almost always by default adventurers, for only by wandering could they have found escape.
Lucipol NamesEdit
Lucipol names trend to be latin inspired, perhaps due to their original ancient tongue spoken.
Male Names: Blandinus, Ennius, Helvius, Lepidus
Female Names: Aelia, Decima, Galla, Julia
Family Names: While most family names are of latin origin, many replace their last name with descriptive last names to otherwise fit in better with the cultures they have integrated with.
