Mutant Dire Ape Arm (3.5e Equipment)

The true nature of this graft is a bit of a mystery. It replaces one's arm with the oversized arm of a dire ape, but the arm moves as if it possesses no bones, stretching and warping in unnatural ways. Some claim it to be a result of the magic used to graft the arm, but others say the arm comes from something other than a dire ape, something that does not belong in this world.
Those with this graft gain a +4 bonus to Strength and gain a Slam attack which deals 2d6 damage with reach. Unlike most weapons with reach, this can hit adjacent targets. In addition you may wield objects one size larger than normal with no penalty as long as it can be held in one hand (for an oversized two-handed weapon you need two grafts) with the benefit of reach, and count as one size larger for the purposes of combat maneuvers such as grappling and disarming. Lastly unarmed strike damage is increased by one size as well. The effective size increase does not stack with Powerful Build, but magical augments do stack.
As a standard action you can slam your oversized hand into the ground, making a 10 ft shockwave that knocks all targets in the area prone with your slam damage as nonlethal damage, Reflex save to negate the prone effect and halve the damage (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Strength modifier). If you have two grafts you can make two ground slams as part of the same standard action. You are immune to your own shockwave.
Graft Flesh (Any), grasping hand; Price 36,000 gp
