The giant pig squeals and charges at you, its orc rider howling and swinging his axe!

A favorite of orc bandits, riding boars are barely tamed boars which function as horses. They're slower than horses, but tougher and stronger. Riding boars are covered in coarse grayish black fur, and are about 8 ft long, 4-5 ft high at the shoulder, and 2200 lbs.

CombatEdit

Boars charge ahead and attack viciously.

Ferocity (Ex): A riding boar is such a tenacious combatant that it continues to fight without penalty even while disabled or dying.

CompanionEdit

A boar can be selected as a paladin's mount or animal companion in place of a horse. It has the same costs as a Heavy Warhorse (400 gp) for the purpose of purchasing.
