Skillful AspectEdit
Around the world there are remote places, be it a forgotten training ground, a certain spot under a waterfall, or on top of a tall pole high in the air, which resonate with psychic energy. Born from memories of skillful achievements in the past, these supernatural locations make it easier to unlock one's hidden talents and make the impossible possible. The appearance of the area is often very mundane, but those who learn about them soon refer to them as lucky places or lands of legend where heroes of lore went to train.

The nature of the skillful aspect is as varied as its location. A skillful aspect of balance may be a field of bamboo shoots which the great monkey king trained upon shortly before ascending to the stars. An aspect of diplomacy may be a courtroom where great legal battles took place that swung the fate of a nation. An aspect of survival might be a jungle so dangerous that to survive more than a week without contact is considered a miracle. In all cases they were once sights of legendary activity in some lore. A knowledge history check can determine the importance of a site and its viability as a skillful aspect.
DescriptionEdit
Skillful aspects vary in appearance, though many appear in remote locations. Those that do not tend to be aspects of social skills, where interacting with the populace is a requirement in your training.
PrerequisiteEdit
A character must have an Intelligence score of 11 or higher to benefit from a skillful aspect.
Location ActivationEdit
A character must spend a week in the environment of the skillful aspect, employing their desired skill at least once per day. Their success or failure does not matter, only that the skill is practiced.
RechargeEdit
Only one person may benefit from the location at a time, though once they are finished another person may begin training immediately after.
Special AbilityEdit
You gain a single skill as a class skill for life. If you had cross-class ranks in the skill, they become normal ranks.
DurationEdit
You retain your knowledge of the class skill permenantly.
Ability ValueEdit
2500 gp for most skills. The skills Iajutsu Focus, Use Magic Device, and Use Psionic Device require special training, including a mentor to guide them. As such these skills cost 5000 gp.
