Combat

Trip (Ex): A Poochyena that hits with a bite attack can attempt to trip the opponent (+1 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip the Poochyena.

Flinch (Ex): Any target bitten must make a DC 13 Fort save or be stunned for one round. The save DC is Strength-based.

Psi Resistance: Poochyena automatically passes saving throws against Psionic effects. If an ability does not allow a save and deals damage, it takes half damage. It also gains a +4 bonus on saves against against mind-affecting spells.

Howl (Ex): If Poochyena fixes its gaze upon a target and howls at them, as long as they can hear the noise, they may be frightened. This is a Standard action, and allows Poochyena to make an Intimidate check opposed by a Will save. If the target fails, they are shaken for three rounds. If they fail by 5 or more, the target panics for three rounds instead. No matter what the result, any given target can only be affected once per day.

Skills: Poochyena has a +3 racial bonus on Intimidate checks.
