Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the Lickitung must hit with its tongue slap attack. If it gets hold, it can attempt to swallow or pin its opponent. A Lickitung can use its harder they fall feat to negate size bonuses in this grapple check if they would be unfavorable to the Lickitung. If a Lickitung maintains its hold for 2 rounds it may use its choke hold feat to subdue its opponent.
Swallow Whole (Ex): A Lickitung can try to swallow a grappled Medium-size or smaller opponent by making a successful grapple check. The swallowed creature takes d8+6 crushing damage and 8 points of acid damage per round from the Licktung’s internal digestive tongue. A creature can also cut its way out using a natural or light slashing weapon to deal 25 points to the Lickitung's tongue (AC 20). Once the creature escapes, muscular action closes the hole; another swallowed creature must cut its own way out. The Lickitung's digestive tongue can hold one medium creature, and proportionately more smaller creatures.
Shout (Sp): A Lickitung can shout, as the spell cast by a 12th level bard, 3 times per day.
Immune to Eyebeams (Ex): A Lickitung is not affected by any eyebeams, eyerays, or eyelasers of any kind. A Lickitung is not affected by either the eye rays or the main antimagic eye of its natural enemy the beholder - however spell-like abilities it generates still are. So while a Lickitung in the area of a beholder's antimagic eye can still eat anything, its shout is stopped cold.
Eat Anything (Su): A Lickitung can eat anything. Anything. It is completely immune to all ingested poisons and can draw sustenance from anything. Even normally indestructible objects like magic items can be consumed by a Lickitung in at most half an hour.
Taste (Ex): A Lickitung can identify creatures and track by taste.
Skills: Licktungs receive a +3 racial bonus to Survival and Escape Artist.
