Solar Fire[edit]

A powerful divine enhancement that allow the wielder to drastically heat up their weapon to cause a large amount of damage. Typically used by the most faithful of the followers of sun deities, these weapons synergize extremely well with other fire-damage dealing enhancements.

As a free action, the wielder of a Solar Fire weapon may call upon it power. The weapon will heat up as if it under the effect of heat metal (even if it not metal). However in this state, the weapon deal an additional 2d6 fire damage and all fire damage dealt by the weapon is half divine and half fire (including from the heat metal effect). The effect last until the weapon leave the wielder's hands and can be used at-will.

A creature with the True BelieverMiC feat in a deity which grant either the Solar or the Sun Domain do not take any fire damage from the weapon, including from the heat metal effect. They may also as a free action stop the weapon special ability, cooling off the weapon instantly.

Strong Evocation; CL 11th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, sunlight slash; Price: +2.
