The druid touched the wood table and with a few words turned it into a beautiful petrified appearance.
The caster touches the designated wooden object. The object then starts to change into petrified wood which depending on the makeup of the previous wood have different colors as the new appearance, otherwise it shares the same statistics as stone. The petrified wood has a shiny glossy look but is otherwise the same as stone. The amount of wood the caster can petrify is up to two 10-ft. cubes/level.
If used on plant creatures or constructs which are mostly wood they must make a fort save or be turned into petrified wood. This acts the same as flesh to stone but only the wood parts of the target are affected. Plant creatures get a 4+ to their save.
Unattended, nonmagical wood gets no saving throw. Magical wood is allowed a saving throw against the spell. An item in a creature’s possession uses the creature’s saving throw bonus unless its own is higher
