Agni
Spirits of the winds of war that have assumed a corporeal, humanoid form.
Personality
Arrogant, violent and belligerent, rafujiins are born of the winds of war, with a deep connection with loud noise. They thirst for battle and physical confrontation, and much of their culture is centered around conflict. This makes them very confrontational in almost all aspects of life.
Physical Description
Built as strong humans with ogre-like features, such as pointed ears, small tusks and horns (one or two), which betray their supernatural nature. They have skin of monochrome tonality, with colors such as solid red, blue, green, yellow or orange. They grow wild hair and have eyes color-changing as the sky. Most notably they have drum-like shoulders which vibrates when they yell, helping them to sound louder. They also have additional canals in their throat that also help them produce louder noises from their powerful lungs.
Relations
Most contacts with other races and cultures are violent, a result of their nature. They are sometimes employed as mercenaries, but prideful, untrustworthy ones. They often despise those races they consider weak.
Alignment
Almost all rafujiins are chaotic, but other alignments are also present among them.
Lands
They live on windy mountains or plains, or travel by boat on the sea, often inhabiting islands.
Religion
War-minded rafujins worship gods of conflict and violence, often in accordance with their alignment. All of them at least pay respect to the force of wind in some way.
Language
They know Auran as an innate language, and Common for the purpose of trading as mercenaries.
Names
They have boastful names, rich of epithets which signify power and strength.
Racial Traits
- Humanoid (Air, Spiritfolk): Born of spirits of the wind and violence, they are magical humanoids.
- Medium: As a Medium creature, a rafujiin has no special bonuses or penalties due to its size.
- Rafujiin base land speed is 30 feet.
- Booming Voice (Su): Thanks to their incredible connection to winds they can produce amazing effects. Once per hour they may shout as a standard action, choosing to affect a cone of 30 feet or a circular area centered on them of 20 feet of radius. Everyone in the area, except the rafujiin, suffer 1d4, + 1d4 per every 5 HD the rafujiin has, of sonic damage, and is deafened for one minute, unless they pass a Fortitude save (DC is 15 + half the rafujiin's HD). Instead of this effect they may speak with a powerful voice, making themselves heard to everyone for 400 feet, + 40 ft per HD, and gaining a circumstantial +4 to checks made by emitting voice or +2 to the DC of sound-based effects. After this they are weakened for one minute, receiving a -2 to to any check and DC of effects based on sound they use. Caster level is their HD.
- Long Breath (Ex): They can hold their breath for a number of round equal to 3 x their Constitution score and receive a +2 bonus to saving throws against inhaled effects.
- Windmaster (Su): Due to their connection with air and winds, they have a +1 to the DC of effects based on air or sound (such as Booming Voice). They gain a +2 to saving throws against such effects, and against any effects meant to silence them. If they gain a flying speed, they increase their maneuverability by one step, or, if it's perfect, increase their speed by 10 feet. They can replicate quickwind shield as an immediate action, once per round, twice per day, with caster level equal to their HD. After using the two quickwind shield, the benefits of Windmaster are suspended until they rest for 8 consecutive hours.
