This spell suppresses a single one of the target creature's spell-like or supernatural abilities of the caster's choice, plus an additional ability for every four levels above 9th the caster has. Even if the creature saves successfully, it still receives a -4 penalty to any attack rolls save DCs and effective caster levels associated with the targeted abilities for the remainder of the spell's duration.
