Riddle Door
Abjuration
Level: Sylvan Occultist 1
Components: V (sometimes),
"X" is not in the list (V, V (Brd only), V (Bard only), S, F, DF, M, M/DF, F/DF, XP, ...) of allowed values for the "Component" property.
Casting time: 1 minute
Range: Touch
Target: The door, chest, or portal touched, up to 30 sq. ft./level in size
Duration: permanent
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

As you cast Riddle Door, you must specify a riddle. When you do so, you immediately forget the answer to that riddle. Until the Riddle Door is dispelled, you cannot remember the answer to the riddle for more than 10 minutes at a time.

A Riddle Door spell cast upon a door, chest, or portal magically locks it. A door or object secured with this spell can be opened only by breaking in, correctly answering the riddle, or casting a successful dispel magic or knock spell. Add 10 to the normal DC to break open a door or portal affected by this spell. (A knock spell does not remove a Riddle Door; it only suppresses the effect for 10 minutes.)

A successful DC 40 Knowledge check with an appropriate Knowledge skill will always give you the correct answer to the riddle.

Experience Cost: It costs 10 points of experience to cast Riddle Door.
