1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

The split cannon is a triple barreled firearm, the barrels are stacked vertically. It is extremely heavy and blocky looking, it is so heavy and it recoil so great it cannot be fired in one hand. Thanks to it very low rate of fire a split cannon can only be fired once per round, no matter how many attacks you would be allowed to make. Despite it nature it is fairly accurate at long range but truly shine at short range. A split cannon consume 3 Heavy Cartridge per shot. Reloading a split cannon take a 1 round action

In the hand of a creature with the exotic weapon proficiency feat a split cannon is less odious waste of resource and actually become fairly useful. If shot at a creature within 10 feet it will deliver two hits instead of one and count as a single hit for the purpose of bypassing hardness and damage reduction. The second attack is made with the same attack roll but with a -5 penalty, it cannot deliver critical hit.

The weapon design was mostly abandoned for more practical firearms, however it remain a niche weapon among adventurer who love it killing power.
