Burning
While burning, characters quickly lose health as their HP plummets. Not necessarily an effect caused by fire, this might be caused by cutting winds as sharp as razors, assailed by a torrent of acid, or being electrocuted by a stream of lightning. While suffering this effect, a character loses 1 HP per HD they possess every round.
