A druidic item whose origins are obscured as it is said to be born through violent ritual, this cursed item is yet still beneficial to those who wish to embrace their violent sides.  They gain the [[Psychotic Fighter (3.5e Flaw)|Psychotic Fighter]] flaw with no bonus feat, but if they choose to give into the flaw and become temporarily chaotic evil they gain the following benefits:

*'''Natural Weapons:''' With the same action as drawing a weapon you can unsheathe beastly [[Mythic_Beast_(3.5e_Race)#Feral_Strike_Weapons|feral strike bite and feral strike claws]].  While your weapons are unsheathed you take on a clearly feral appearance.
*'''Regeneration 0:''' Bypassed by acid, fire, good, and silver damage.  While it does not recover hit points, it permits limbs to be regrown and still converts some damage to non-lethal damage.
*'''Scavenger:''' You can consume any meat and gain sustenance no matter how poisoned, diseased, or rotten, as long as it is intact enough to still be considered meat.

The ribbon only reveals its Diehard ability and no other traits until the first time combat is encountered and Psychotic Fighter kicks in, at which case it reveals its full powers if you give into the flaw.  It also becomes impossible to remove while within the encounter, but may be removed normally afterward.

After three uses within a month, the Psychotic Fighter flaw becomes permanent, and you begin to only want to consume meat (especially fleshy killed or sapient meat) beyond all else, even if the ribbon is removed.  This is a curse that can only be removed with ''[[SRD:Remove Curse|remove curse]]'' and a caster level check against DC 22.  You still need the ribbon to benefit from its other abilities.

Rumors persist the ribbons are also used in a certain ritual that can grant oneself transformation into a horrible monster.
