A hero’s tunic is a forest green tunic with a hauberk of ''+2 mithral chainmail'' interwoven into its folds. The tunic is supposedly modeled after the legendary hero’s garb once worn by a hero chosen by the gods, and it has become a relatively widespread item following that hero’s momentous deeds. The tunic has one other quality, which is that is can protect the wearer from falling damage provided the fall is not greater than 240 feet. This ability can be used three times per day as a free action useable out of turn.
