This ''+1 lance'' allows the user to use a special launching attack.  They can move up to twice their movement speed as a full round action in a straight line without provoking attacks of opportunity.  This is a charge attack, and counts as being mounted even if you are not (and in fact you cannot, as the lance drags the wielder forward on its own power).

However if you miss your target, you have no choice but to move your full distance of twice your movement speed and provoke from your initial target.  If you run into an obstruction you take damage as if you fell the distance of twice your movement speed.  For example, a 30 ft move speed would deal 6d6 fall damage, and you fall prone if you do not make a DC 15 Balance check.  Even if you do not hit an obstruction you are thrown off balance and are staggered for 1 round.
