Polymorph[edit]
Bwa? They're Transmutation spells, don't benefit from the domain power, and seem fitting from an effect stand but not a fluff stand (which I actually think matters more for domains). So... why? - Tarkisflux Talk 19:14, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- I thought they fit okay apart from being, well, the wrong school...the issue I found was a lack of appropriate illusion spells at the higher levels (they seem hard to write at whatever reason). There could be some stuff at levels 4-5 that's usable, I'll go back and look those over more. But I can't seem to find anything better fitting for 8-9 that isn't, at minimum, boring or a mechanical nightmare (like Shades). Surgo (talk) 19:17, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- Replace seeming with veil perhaps? It's a level drop, but not one I'm concerned about. Rien's False Reality (3.5e Spell) might work as an 8 or 9 (it certainly seems thematically fitting). - Tarkisflux Talk 20:39, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- Could also grab superior invis from Complete Arcane, though the lack of other invis spells makes it stand out a bit. Or ice assassin from It's Cold Outside since simulacrum is there already (though I hear bad things about that one and can't be bothered to actually read it). - Tarkisflux Talk 20:50, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, Phantasmagorical Image (3.5e Spell) doesn't seem like a terrible fit. - Tarkisflux Talk 21:05, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
Ignoring Immunity[edit]
Is it ignoring immunity to ILLUSIONS exclusively, or illusions and anything that comes with it. Like a phantasm (mind-affecting) on a mindless construct. Does it work? -- Eiji-kun (talk) 10:00, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
