Cost?[edit]

10,000 gp seems a little steep for a fun gimmick item. I'd go with something like 1,000 gp, at most. --Aarnott 17:44, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

It's a Decanter of Endless Water (same effect) plus a little more fire damage. Probably not worth the 1000gp surcharge, but certainly not cheaper than its predecessor item. -- Eiji-kun 18:24, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

Ratings[edit]

RatedNeutral.png Havvy is neutral on this article and rated it 2 of 4.
The Decanter of Endless Water is a useful item outside of combat specifically because you get water that doesn't burn and can clean stuff. Adding damage removes most of the utility effects of this item, removing a good chunk of its value. Then it adds another effect, the effect of coffee. Specifically, the whole haste and fatigue thing. If somebody is immune to fatigue (I'm looking at warforged), we have here a mechanical way to really boost their power cheaply, since coffee is probably cheaper than a potion of haste. Maybe coffee should have its own equipment page...

Update: Changed to neutral, because I found out it's Category:April Fools, and the mechanical effects of coffee are set to another page.

You can summon a mug o' cold coffee, the tempature is up to you. Do you think I should reduce or remove the haste part? I added it only cause I found it amusing, so I don't think it's intergral. I was also going to say you could water down your coffee to the point where it basically is water, but I feared I was stepping on the decanter's turf. Then again, this is an april fools of the decanter anyways. -- Eiji-kun 22:46, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
On light of the fact this is an April Fools article, I have changed my rating. --Havvy 00:38, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
