1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

A repurposed boat anchor that has been fitted for battle, it can be used to strike foes in melee or be thrown, both requiring exceptional strength. It is effectively a barbed club made entirely of metal. You can attach a chain to a battle anchor, allowing you to pull the anchor toward you as a move action (or as free action if you have the Quick Draw feat), but doing so limits the range of the anchor to the length of the chain, unless you let go of the chain. A proficient user gains a +2 bonus on Drag and Reposition checks.

If your Strength is less than 19 (or 17 for a Small or smaller battle anchor), you take a –2 penalty on attacks with it, as you’re unable to maneuver its daunting size and weight.
