Martial Two-Handed Projectile
1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
This two-handed rifle is powered by a small, fast-charging magic cell capable of firing an eldritch spearCAr.
A blast rifle fires a single ray with a range of 250 feet as an attack action. This is a ranged touch attack that affects a single target, allowing no saving throw. Unlike an eldritch blast, the ray of a blast rifle is not subject to spell resistance.
Blast rifles are always of masterwork quality, granting a +1 to attack rolls made with the weapon. While a blast rifle may be magically enhanced, it may only receive enhancement bonuses from +1 to +5, and not any special ability enhancements.
Regardless of what size creature the blast rifle is designed for, a blast rifle always does 3d6 damage. A blast rifle may be fired one-handed, but at a -4 penalty, and the scope may not be used.
Special: A wielder of a blast rifle with levels in warlock or any invocation-granting class may add any lesser or least essence invocation he or she knows to the rifle's blast.
Bayonet: A blast rifle with an attached bayonet can be used as a shortspear in melee. Enhancement bonuses on a blast rifle bestow the same bonus on attacks made with the bayonet. A bayonet costs 15 gold pieces.
Scope: A blast rifle with a scope allows you to deal precision damage (such as sneak attack damage) out to 60ft, plus an additional 10 feet per point of BAB beyond 5. A scope costs 200 gp.
