Chapter 1: Sublime Classes[edit]

Reshar's training was comprehensive, but was primarily that of a very simple man. He wanted the Sublime Way to be as accessible and as simple to learn and teach as possible. As a result, many more niche avenues of learning and approaches to the Way were missed or deliberately overlooked. By presenting what I've learned on my travels of alternative approaches to the Sublime Way, I hope that I can enlighten other martial adepts - perhaps even create some new students for these minor movements.

- Arminius

The old man has a point. Know your enemy - you don't want to be surprised just because Reshar didn't see something as valid.

- Asher

While crusaders, swordsages and warblades will always be the primary ways in which martial adepts practice their craft, they are by no means the only ones. With the collapse of Reshar's school, many alternative styles began to come out of the woodwork, and many martial adepts have begun to learn from them, seeking insights that Reshar and his training missed.
