By raising your arms and shield high in the air you may praise the sun and gain it's blessing.
A +1 wooden heavy shield emblazoned with a stylized sun upon it, this shield may glow anywhere from a candle to a torch or bullseye lantern, toggled as a free action. If you spend a full round action taking a blessed pose to praise the sun (which leaves you flatfooted), you may increase your luminescence to flood up to a 500 ft area in bright light and dim light out to 1000 ft. Within 10 ft of yourself, the glow is so intense it counts as actual daylight and can harm creatures affected by bright light, as well as providing a 50% miss chance from the glare. This lasts as long as you concentrate, and you do not benefit from your shield bonus while you pose.
If you cease posing after at least 1 round of posing, any allies within 500 ft are charged with the power of the sun. They deal +1d6 additional fire damage against undead for 1 minute.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, produce flame, sunbeam.
Cost to Create: 8,157 gp, 640 EXP, 16 days.
