Goblinfriend[edit]
As a sign of their friendship with the goblins, the elves crafted these weapons to show proof that they would never sneak up on or harm a goblin accidentally.
Goblinfriend weapons glow like a torch when there is a goblinoid within 120 feet. In addition, immediately before striking a creature, if that creature is a goblinoid, the weapon flashes brightly twice, just in time for the attacker to cancel their attack as an immediate action. The sword detects creatures in this way much like true seeing, identifying real goblinoids even when they've been polymorphed, and not responding to creatures merely transformed into goblinoids.
