Majesty
Enchantment (Charm, Compulsion) [Mind-Affecting]
Level: Sorcerer/Wizard 10
Components: V, S, F
Casting time: 1 full round action
Range: Personal
Effect or Area: Compel creatures within a radius of 400 ft/level
Duration: 1 hour/level
Saving Throw: Will partial; see text
Spell Resistance: Yes

The spellcaster looks around the room strongly chanting arcane words of power drawing all attention upon themself as they place a crown upon their head. When completed, everyone understands they are in the presence of a mighty ruler.

Once the spell is complete the caster emanates a powerful set of compulsions that convince intelligent creatures (Intelligence greater than 2) that the caster is indeed their rightful liege. This causes multiple effects.

• While within the area of the spell all creatures are shaken even if they do not see the caster. This does not stack with other fear effects.

• For those creatures that failed their saving throw, they accept that the caster is their ruler whom they should obey and defer to. When they see the caster they must kneel (treat as cowering condition) until either the caster leaves their view or bids them to stand.

• The caster may as a swift action impose a Quest on one creature that has already failed their saving throw.

• The caster may as a swift action issue a command to one creature per level. Treat this as a very reasonable (save -2) Heightened (Save DC as a level 10 spell) Mass Suggestion.

If the caster stops wearing the focus for this spell then it is immediately dismissed. If the caster directly attacks a creature affected by this spell then that creature may make another saving throw to resist each round they are under attack, and is only panicked instead of cowering.

Focus: A crown or headpiece worth at least 1000 gp

Special: A crowned ruler of another kingdom is treated as having unbeatable SR against this spell so long as they wear their own crown of rulership.
