Items of Note[edit]

  • Skirmisher Boots (Magic Item Compendium) allow you to add extra skirmish damage, as well as get an extra attack after skirmishing twice per day.
  • A Nightstick (Libris Mortis) or a Reliquary Holy Symbol (Magic Item Compendium) will give you extra turn attempts with which to fuel your domain devotions
  • Greater Chausable of Fell Power for more damage

Highlights[edit]

  • Pick up a first-level spell with the Draconic Rite of Passage (such as Nerveskitter)
  • Caster level of 24 for Warlock
  • Assumed stats at level 20:
    • Strength: 17 (Base) - 2 (Racial) + 1 (Bloodline) + 5 (Level) + 6 (Item) + 5 (Tome) = 32 (+11
    • Damage: 6d6 (Base Eldritch Blast) + 2d6 (Greater Chausable of Fell Power) + 5d6 (Skirmish) + 2d6 (Improved Skirmish) + 22 (Power Attack) + 16 (Strength) + 12d6 (Hellfire Warlock) = 27d6 + 38 x3
      • Total damage per attack comes out to 122.5 (on average). Should all attacks hit (and they probably will, being touch attacks), that's 367.5 damage (735 with Quicken Spell-like Ability)

Combat Sequence[edit]

  • Activate Travel Devotion on one round, Law Devotion on another
  • Keep moving and dealing damage with full attacks using Travel Devotion to move as a swift action
  • Easily lock enemies down using Stand Still with Thicket of Blades

Further Optimization[edit]

  • Pick up a wand of Divine Favor and Divine Power to boost your attack and damage

Limitations[edit]

  • Creatures immune to skirmish will reduce overall damage considerably

DM Counters[edit]

  • Defenses apart from AC (illusions, concealment, etc)
  • Teleporting foes

Variants[edit]

  • Take the Titan Bloodline instead of the Demon Bloodline
  • If you're not worried about Spell Resistance, pick up Chilling Tentacles or another invocation instead of Vitriolic Blast
