1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
A strange weapon very few would even touch, nevermind attempt to master it. The Ringblade is essentially an oversized chakram with added handles. It can only be used two-handed or as a 'double' weapon. Unlike a regular chakram, it is not designed to be thrown. If wielded by a creature without exotic weapon proficiency, any missed attack is made against themselves at the same bonus.
If a creature does possess the appropriate exotic weapon proficiency, it can use it without risk of striking itself. The ringblade in the hands of a proficient user grants a +4 bonus on SRD:Trip checks and is a trip weapon. It also grants a +4 bonus on Feint checks due to its odd shape.
Unlike a normal double weapon, the ringblade is a single piece of metal. Thus, it only has a single 'end' to enhance; attacks made with it as a double weapon benefit from the same enhancement.
