Pricing[edit]
is the table for EPIC WEAPON BASE PRICE right? it jumps from +5 50,000 to +6 720,000, +7 980,000, ect. --NameViolation 02:28, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes. That's epic for you. Surgo 03:04, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
Formatting[edit]
This page is a mess of formatting. A bunch of the tables are duplicates. Some of the tables are transcluded, some aren't. The widths are all different. Anyways, I'm gonna give this a shot and see if I can get it all sorted out. --Ganteka Future (talk) 21:18, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, that's it for round one for me. I left the duplicate tables (The common, uncommon and ranged weapon tables are in both the magic and epic magic sections). For some reason the epic magic item version of the uncommon weapon table has both heavy and light lances. It looks like the SRD has only one kind of lance, so I'm not sure where this is coming from (even though a heavy lance is mentioned in text concerning the goat of terror figurine). Anyways, we now have a Ranged Weapon Special Abilities table, which was missing apparently before (in it's place was the Epic version, which was also duplicated, ugh).
- As for the formatting change, the tables are now set to about 30% page width. If this looks weird for some people, it's easy to stretch them out again. This was mainly a test to try the 3-wide table-in-table approach for the common/uncommon/ranged weapon tables. I'm not sure how I feel on those now that they're there. It was an attempt to minimize scrolling a bit given that the page is rather long.
- So, there's still a bit of linking to do to the anchored tables referenced in other tables to sorta finish everything off. --Ganteka Future (talk) 05:43, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- You could possibly stack the melee / ranged / specific weapons tables in a similar column approach if you wanted page consistency. I'm in favor of density here.
- The lance thing might be a 3.0 carry over, when there was a heavy and light one. I'm pretty sure that the ELH came out for 3.0, so it having a few pieces that didn't get properly updated (if it got updated at all) doesn't surprise me. - Tarkisflux Talk 06:17, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
- Alright, redundant tables removed. Links provided to point to anchors earlier on the page. Freed up a lot of space. The melee/ranged/specific weapon tables have now been columned. It's prettier than it was, but I don't think it's gonna get much prettier considering it's a bunch of tables of different sizes. At least there's less scrolling now. --Ganteka Future (talk) 07:50, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
