2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

An unusual weapon made for fighting in tight quarters, the slicing blade is not easy to wield. It is essentially a double edged crescent blade vertically parallel to a hilt. Many find it possess a notable lack of reach and require the use to get 'dirty' so to speak, this fighting style greatly benefits anyone who wield the weapon proficiently. A non-proficient wielder provoke an attack of opportunity whenever they attack with the slicing blade.

You can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with a slicing blade sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon for you. If you have Exotic Weapon Proficiency and Weapon Finesse feats you can choose to add your Dexterity modifier to damage instead of strength.

If the wielder possess the appropriate exotic weapon proficiency it gain access to the following Weapon Arts:

Dashing Strike: As part of an attack action with a Slicing Blade you may move 5 feet., this movement does not provoke attacks of opportunity but must bring you in range of of your intended target. You may use this ability once per round per attacks granted by base attack bonus.

Entrapping Strike: As a standard action you may attempt to trap your opponent between the blade and the hilt of your weapon, make a melee attack at your highest attack bonus. This attack only deal half damage, but is made with Improved Grab. You may sue your Dexterity instead of your Strength on the grapple checks made with the weapon. If you successfully grapple your opponent you deal your weapon damage (but no other source) each round you maintain your grapple, but you lose the ability to use the slicing blade for it duration. If you manage to pin your opponent three round in a row in this grapple, you may perform Coup de Grace, slicing your opponent head off, after which the grapple end.

Tear Grapple: You may use the Slicing Blade in grapple, even if pinned, with no penalties. Additionally you automatically deal your weapon + strength (or another ability which replace it) damage to your grappler whenever you attempt to escape, either successfully or not. This damage is not increased if the wielder wield more than one Slicing Blade.
