|lvl4=By speaking abyssal and increasing the casting time by one step, you can add the [[SRD:Evil Effect|Evil]] descriptor to the spell you are casting, but not if it's a [[Good]] spell.
|lvl6=Speaking abyssal while casting a [[SRD:Fear Effect|Fear]] spell doubles the penalties it apply applies and the duration of the effect.
|lvl8=If you cast a [[SRD:Conjuration School|conjuration]] spell which calls or summons a demon, adding abyssal as a vocal component you empower the creature giving it temporary hit points equal to your caster level and +4 to Strength and Dexterity. Doing so makes you suffer one point of damage per spell level, which can't be reduced or negated by any means.
