Rather Good, perhaps too Good[edit]

While looking for spells for a sorcerer I realized how dangerous this could be. Cast this a few times, then walk into a room for (# of times cast) blast spells a round for long-enough duration, uncapped. While this is a problem it shares with summoning (you can have your own army), summons are susceptible death by hp damage. These, not so much. It's basically summoning a dim witted but your caster level wizard made out of force. I am unsure about this. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 05:36, 16 March 2015 (UTC)

True. Possible options are making them completely immobile, making them susceptible to hit point damage, or making it so that only one sentry can be active per spellcaster at any one time. Doing all three probably makes them too weak for the balance point. Also bear in mind that an arcane sentry only attacks with one specific energy type chosen in advance, so defending or immunizing against it is not difficult. --Sulacu (talk) 00:30, 17 March 2015 (UTC)
