Changes & Balance[edit]

It seems people weren't understanding the previous wording which was making people believe this feat was overpowered. I've altered the wording to be much more clear about what this feat does in hopes that others see it for what it is. Also anyone who thinks that a total rage bonus of +10 as an 11th level character is over powered at all, should look at the Bear Warrior prestige class on page 16 of the Complete Warrior book. The class requires Rage and +7 BAB to enter, so you can have it as your 8th level. On level 5 of that class (12th level character total) the user can turn into a Brown Bear when raging to gain +16 Str, +2 Dex and +8 Con and then at level 10 prestige class (level 17th level character total) the user can become a Dire Bear while raging and gain +20 Str, +2 Dex and +8 Con. This feat is well within WotC guidelines. The-Marksman (talk) 16:09, 13 April 2019 (MDT)

+10 to two scores, with the only limiting factor being ki points. At 12th level they have enough ki points to keep this for 19 minutes. It is overpowered.

Edit: After the cost was fixed to being painful, to the point that using this feat could only be done a very limited amount of times per day, then becoming aware of the super powerful Bear Warrior, decided to change rating. A feat that gives a +2 bonus to Str and Dex is not bad.

To be fair, it's only +2 to two stats over the normal benefits for a higher ki cost, but the point still stands.

A low feat that gives you +10 to two main stats? What could be wrong with that!?

I dont see anything unbalancing about a feat that cant be taken till after 10th level (because of prerequisite class feature) that gives you a +2 Str / +2 Dex / +5 movement speed, that uses up a bit more class resources (ki points) and the bonus cant be kept indeffinately .. its almost like a +2 str, +2 con rage feat, (which exist in several WoTC books, and can be taken at 1st level) but with a different flavor.
