This one is ok. The inability to wear armor is more of a downside than anything. I find the minimal scaling of the natural armor unusual. Energy resistances are very nice. The sticking point as always is 15k for freedom of movement, but in this case it's expensive enough where there aren't concerns about people running about with this at low level, and the armor thing is a real downside. I still don't like the takes-up-a-body-slot mechanics, but whatever.

+8 AC, nice. Can't wear armor, good balancer... wait, yet there's rules for if you wear armor anyway, weird.

A bunch of energy resistances. Ooo, nice, probably drives the price up.

And, wow! Freedom of movement, all for.... 15k? Are you serious? *Looks at his 40k ring, a 40k ring which was worth it original and JUST gives regeneration, and can be stolen*

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too cheap. You need to be measuring something akin to the cost of full plate with three energy resistance enhancement and a ring of freedom of movement on top. And thats without applying the same-slot surcharge, or doubling it for it being slotless. No way is this a good balanced price. -- Eiji-kun 17:26, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

This is an item balanced for a 14th level character. All of the above is completely in-line with what a 14th level character, given the wizard level of balance, can do. The price given for it is a reasonable fraction of the total wealth by level for a 14th level character (10%, to be exact), and if we examine it in terms of wealth growth between 13th level and 14th level, it's about 40% of that. Combined with the fact that items in general are priced in a retarded fashion, and that this item benefits non-magic guys more than magic ones, your objections seem strange in the extreme. - MisterSinister 05:12, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

I have a question regarding clarity. So all these grafts require prerequisites, usually evil, graft flesh, and some spell. But what are the Prerequisites for exactly? I mean the Graft Flesh feat allows you to create, and apply grafts. So do you need the Spell prerequisite for the creation of the Graft, or for the procedure? PetuniaBulldog 10:46, 6 March 2018 (EST)
