Talk:Cute Charm (3.5e Feat)

For "Monster" feats, is it not common practice to specify prerequisites which normal humanoids do not meet? Or does the tag [Monstrous] add inherent prerequisites?

This ability seems too strong to be freely available.

I suggest a minimum prerequisite of racial/inherent Charisma +4. This rules out basic humanoids, at least until they can afford a double Wish spell (inherent Charisma +2, and a racial Charisma +2). Making this feat even less accessible might be better.--Be Well (talk) 22:56, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

The Monstrous tag has a (loose) inherent prerequisite of being "a monster". Generally this means you are non-humanoid at least, but its very DM dependent.
No comment on the actual feat myself. I'm not much into the pokemon type feats or how they went about doing it. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 01:25, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
I am not familiar with Pokemon and hadn't realized this was intended for Pokemon. I only just now discovered that "Darkrai" is a Pokemon specific term. I still think adding a prerequisite is a good idea - surely the Pokemon which can use this has some preexisting cuteness?
Do you, or does anyone, have thoughts on what might be a good prerequisite(s)?--Be Well (talk) 21:50, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
I just found the Pokemon to which SisterAcacia gave this ability (though, oddly, not as a feat) - Lopunny (I've forgotten how to internal link, http://www.dnd-wiki.org/wiki/Lopunny_(3.5e_Monster) ).
The creature is 8 HD and has Charisma 19 (assuming a starting Cha 18, means Cha Mod +4). The creature also has the spell Charm as an at-will Spell-Like-Ability. One or both of these traits might make good prerequisites for this feat. --Be Well (talk) 22:04, 21 January 2014 (UTC)
