It occurs to me that I never got around rating these. I suppose it was because I looked away because of Tome this and Liber Demonica that and the differing design philosophy. However now that I'm looking at this again and ignoring the straight up power of it all, I find that 2300 gp to become a Tome Barbarian in everything but name to be straight up nonsense. Even the monk, who loses their main gimmick to a belt, is still 13,000 gp. Yeah, I feel a lot less bad about opposing these.

I was actually originally cool with this until I noticed that it gives people the Tome Barbarian's Rage (including Rage Dice) which scales with level. That's less cool.

This graft feels like it would cause more issues than would cause entertainment at the table. Mechanically sound though.

Same Deal

See the Talk pages of the other demon grafts you made. Too cheap for the number of benefits. -- Eiji-kun 17:33, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

This is an item balanced for a 6th level character. All of the above is completely in-line with what a 6th level character, given the wizard level of balance, can do. The price given for it is a reasonable fraction of the total wealth by level for a 6th level character (18%, to be exact), and if we examine it in terms of wealth growth between 5th level and 6th level, it's about 58% of that. Combined with the fact that items in general are priced in a retarded fashion, and that this item benefits non-magic guys more than magic ones, your objections seem strange in the extreme. - MisterSinister 20:12, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
