A full caster that shoots itself in the foot by permanently incurring chances of spell failure in return for marginal rewards that tend on only influence sub-par spell selections instead of spells that kill people and are actually used at wizard-level encounters? Ewww. Even delaying a spell too many rounds could be potentially deadly, and this class takes away the ability to control that variable. Not a gamble I would take.


Wild Magic?[edit]

If the random effect cause by Oops is considered wild magic, then Wild Mage would be a logical way to "build on it" as describe in the "A day in the life" section, since they get to roll twice and choose which result they want to use.--Zhenra-Khal (talk) 03:00, 12 November 2018 (MST)
